Children's Privacy
Stickerradar is designed for a general audience aged 13 and over. This notice explains how we treat the privacy of younger users and what parents and guardians can do. It supplements our main Privacy Policy.
Minimum age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Stickerradar. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you are in a country whose law sets a higher age of digital consent — for example 16 in Germany or 14 in Italy — you must have reached that age or have a parent or guardian consent on your behalf.
We are not a “kids” app — and what that means
Stickerradar is a general-audience app, not a product in Apple’s Kids Category or one “directed to children” under the U.S. COPPA rule. That said, we deliberately keep the experience safe for younger collectors:
- No advertising and no cross-app tracking of any kind.
- Analytics are configured for product improvement only, with ad features off, so no advertising identifier is used.
- Trading is friends-only. Users connect by exchanging an invite code or @handle — there is no open, location-based, or stranger discovery.
- Trades are arranged in the app and completed in person; we never process payments between users.
- Built-in block and report tools let any user remove and report another.
- In-app purchases are authenticated and handled by Apple or Google, whose device-level parental controls (Screen Time / Family Link, Ask to Buy) govern whether a young user can buy anything.
What data a younger user’s account holds
The same minimal data described in our Privacy Policy: a sign-in identifier, a public @handle and optional name, the friends/groups/trades the user creates, sticker-inventory data, and — only if enabled — a push token. We do not ask for a date of birth, home address, phone number, or precise location.
Information for parents and guardians
If you believe a child under 13 (or under the digital-consent age in your country) has provided us personal data without the consent you are entitled to give or refuse, please contact us at contact@stickerradar.app. We will:
- confirm the request and, where appropriate, verify your relationship to the child;
- delete the child’s account and associated personal data; and
- help you turn off or review the child’s use of the Service.
Parents also have the rights set out in Section 7 of the Privacy Policy — access, correction, and erasure — which they may exercise on a child’s behalf.
Changes
We will update this notice if our practices or the Service’s audience change, with a new “Last updated” date above.
